Hot glögg with saffron and orange whipped cream

Blossa glögg with saffron and orange whipped cream:

3 dl whipping cream
1 packet of saffron
1 tablespoon granulated sugar
1 teaspoon finely grated orange zest (only the outer zest, without the white part)

Pour the whipping cream into a bowl and start whipping it until it becomes fluffy but not completely stiff. You want it to be light and airy.
When the cream begins to get fluffy, add the saffron and granulated sugar. Continue whisking gently until the ingredients are well combined.
Wash the orange and grate the zest finely. Be careful to only get the outer zest, as the white part can be bitter.
Gently fold the grated orange zest into the whipped saffron cream using a spatula.
Spoon the saffron and orange cream over your warm glögg cups and serve immediately. The cream will melt slightly and give the glögg a delightful flavor of saffron and orange!
